This initiative was created with Sierra Leone and its people in mind. But one person stands out in particular.
In 1999 a young Sierra Leonean woman named Adama passed away before her time due to extreme violence, leaving her grieving and despairing husband and young children behind.
It’s an event in history that stops us in our tracks. Makes us think. Of family, of suffering and despair, of grief, of innocence and of human connection without borders.
Many words can be written, but they can never truly capture the feelings of all concerned.
The memory of Adama lives on in her family and all who knew her. This is also at the heart of this initiative. This is for her.
